What should be out for Open Studio?

If it is something simple like scissors, you can get it out. However, if it’s something like “can I get airdry clay out” or “can we get out this thing I saw that you had in classes?”…No. The things that we have in classes are reserved for classes so we can justify the price difference.
Parents cannot leave the studio during open studio. One parent can be in the front if another is in the back, but there should always be a parent with eyes on their child.
I usually give a 5 minute warning and a 5 minute grace period. About 5 minutes before their time is about to end, let them know. You can queue this up with "what do you guys have going on the rest of the day?" or “you all have about 5 minutes left! You’re welcome to add on another hour for $10. Let me know!”.
Every 20 mins or so bounce back and check on supplies. If something needs to be organized or refilled, do that. Other than that, there is a list for every open studio shift on Asana.
Look at the next class on the schedule. If the next class on the schedule is open studio, then you can organize all of the materials, put fresh ones out, and reset the room to the “start”.

If the class is NOT open studio, please put everything away. If your Asana tells you to set up for the next class, please do. If there isn’t anyone in the Open Studio 15 minutes to close time, please set up for the next class.
